Simula nang makilala ng legendary boxer na si Sen. Manny Pacquiao si Jesus at siya'y lubos na naging kristiyano, Manny is always facing sa mga ganitong pang-iinsulto sa kaniyang religious belief. Sinasabi raw ng iba na ito ang dahilan kung bakit palagi ng natatalo si pacquiao. Pero magkagayon man ang pang-iinsulto na ito ay hindi iniinda ni Pacquiao bagkus ito ay nagiging lakas at ginagamit na daan upang maging matatag sa loob ng ring at maging matatag sa pananampalataya.

Manny Pacquiao replies to Thurman during the Fox Face to Face interview: " I'm motivated and it's good for me...it help me a lot. Actually, what he say is not helping him but it's helping me. That give me more motivation, work hard, determination and focus."

Pacquiao is showing he's great response to Thurman kahit na personalan na ang pinagsasabi nito. Makikita naman talaga natin kung how Jesus is work to our life even we are persecuted with others. Sabi nga sa bibliya "Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing."
