Cashmum Lending App Review | The things you need to know!
Cashmum is one of the online lending applications in the Google Play Store that offers non-collateral loans. They will give you a fascinating, smooth deal with your approved loan. However, same with our reviews from other OLAs (online lending apps), non-collateral and fast-approvable loans offered by the lenders online have a counter return to their clients, such as the high interest fee, processing fee that is greater than the interest, and other miscellaneous. Cashmum App and cashmum.ph are operated by Cashmum Lending Investors Corporation with issued Company SEC registration number CS202102336 on February 26, 2021. In the Google Play as of November 22, 2024, the CashMum application has 10,000+ downloads and 42 reviews at 2.6 ratings, which is poorer to recommend. Let's dig deeper into the reality of this online lending app.
Is Cashmum legit or not?
Don't worry, Cashmum is a legitimate online lending application because they are a SEC-registered company with a Certificate of Authority to operate. If you have applied for loans from them and you think your rights have been violated, you can file a demand with the SEC and NPC.
Do I can get real money in Cashmum Loan?
After your successful loan application, a Cashmum representative will contact you at the phone number you've used in the loan application. This is just for verification purposes. Once approved after a couple of minutes your loan will be credited to your registered bank account.
Does Cashmum will contact anyone on my contact list if I miss payment?
If you used the Cashmum app, your contact list will be collected by the company to ensure that they can reach out to you through the contact list once your number cannot be reached. If you applied through the website, a chance that they cannot get your contact list, but prior to your loan approval, your Facebook profile may be searched as their target to collect information once you have been missing to pay on time.
One of my friends shared experience in this app. She borrowed 2000 pesos, but she just received 1200+ pesos in her bank account, which is payable for 7 days only. Cashmum deducted their processing fee and interest rate from the approved amount. Until her loan gets bigger due to the huge percentage of interest and fees taken by Cashmum to her approved loan. She added that when she had missed payment, Cashmum representatives reached out to her Facebook friends about her payment obligation together with her photos used in the application.
When we contacted Cashmum, they denied the action of their representative regarding improper loan collection, which violated their client's rights.
Though not good, Why couldn't we blame lenders like Cashmum for the above scenario?
Online lending applications or any platform requires users to click, read, and approve the privacy policy statement of the app or website. Like the images above, as you can see Cashmum App stated to their privacy policies that your phone information, Telco, SMS logs, and call logs will be collected upon creating an account, and the possibility to transfer your personal information to other countries like the United States, Singapore, and China is also states to their policy.
This is the reason why we need to take time reading and understanding the platform privacy policy statement before conforming and creating an account. For your security, always deny an untrustworthy application to their access request, especially to your contact list, SMS logs, or call logs.
Though if you wish to apply for a loan with fast assessment and approval, you can take it to Cashmum. However, always put to our mind that let us think when we're going to use the money before taking a loan with a high interest rate. It will take you to a financial situation that you are not able to hold over time. Be responsible always with your action.
